Before you start
- Install Nexora Product Labels & Badges from the Shopify App Store. The app is free.
- Make sure you can edit your live theme in Online Store > Themes.
- For sale labels, give some products a compare-at price that is higher than their price.
- Have your storefront open in another tab so you can check your labels.
Getting started
- Turn on the app embed
On the app's home page, click Enable on theme in the Storefront status card (or in the checklist). In the theme editor, make sure Product Labels is switched on under App embeds, then click Save.
- Confirm the embed is on
Back in the app, click I've enabled it. The Storefront status card should now show On.
- Check your theme
Open Settings. Store Theme is set to Auto-detect (use the live theme) by default, which suits most stores. If you prefer, search for your theme on the Shopify themes or Themeforest themes tab, then press Save.
- Create a label
Go to Product Labels and click + Add Label. On the General tab, enter a Label name, choose Inside Product Image and the Text type, then pick a shape.
- Design it
On the Design tab, type your Label Text (for example
SALE), choose the Background Color and Text Color, and set Position to Top-Left. Check the Label Preview on desktop and mobile. - Choose where it shows
On the Display condition tab, keep All products or pick specific products or collections. Leave Show On Pages, Visibility Date and Show On Locations at their defaults for now.
- Activate and save
Click Activate at the top of the editor, then Save in the save bar. New labels are inactive until you activate them.
- Check your storefront
Open a collection page and a product page in your store and refresh. Your label should be on the product images. If it doesn't appear, see the Troubleshooting questions in the FAQ.
